Project Parable Plus

“And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.”  Galatians 6: 9, 10

What is the problem to solve?

Simply put, we have a church in chaos.

TempServeOur local communities Spokane, Pend Oreille and Bonner Counties (Spokane, WA to Sandpoint, ID etc.) are struggling financially and spiritually, like many other communities around the country. Young people and businesses are moving out and leaving local Christian Ministers and Christian Lay Servants to struggle to keep their churches going.

Meanwhile Christian Ministers and Missionaries around the world are desperately calling out for financial and other forms of help more than ever, with very little help on the horizon.

We also have Dispersed Christian Refugees and Legal Christian Immigrants already throughout the USA who have been force out of their countries who are also struggling to find fair paying jobs (most around $5/hr. - $9/hr.) just to survive financially to provide for their families and their ministries while still trying to show Gods love to a lost and hurting world. We think they should be making at least $15 - $20/hr. By choice and heart, not a government mandate.

But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd. Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.” Matthew 9:36-38

And He said to them, “Which of you shall have a friend, and go to him at midnight and say to him, ‘Friend, lend me three loaves; for a friend of mine has come to me on his journey, and I have nothing to set before him’; and he will answer from within and say, ‘Do not trouble me; the door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed; I cannot rise and give to you’? I say to you, though he will not rise and give to him because he is his friend, yet because of his persistence he will rise and give him as many as he needs. Luke 11:5-8

How can You and Hopeline Christian Society help?

Hopeline Christian Society's mission is “Encouraging, Equipping and Mobilizing Christians in the Pursuit of Living the ‘Two Great Commandments’ and the ‘Great Commission,’ Locally and Globally."

TempServeFor the past 3 1/2 years God has had the mandate and vision of Hopeline Christian Society (HCS) to help the Body of Christ to find financial ways to meet the financial needs of Christian missions, mostly by personal donations. Even as a small organization HCS has financially helped Christian Ministers and Missionaries around the world financially to help others living in poverty in Haiti, Dominican Republic,  Nepal,   India, Africa, Pakistan, Canada and the USA so that they can show the love of Christ to their communities. However not to the degree we have wanted to help or needed to help. Most of us have seen the need and heard the desperate cries for for help by Christians in 3rd world countries.

God is giving us, the Christian church, a chance to help those in the 3rd world countries as well as our own local communities that are falling apart economically and spiritually as well as that of the rest of the world at the same time. If we are willing!!!

It has been placed on my heart for some time now to help meet all of these needs in a larger and expanded way. I believe God has heard the prayers of His people around the world and now is the right time to take action. I sense God is bringing in an economic boom to our country that will once again draw the world to Him. However, only if the church changes its heart, and gets back on board with His plan to help His children Locally and Globally. It is our choice. We can participate in His blessing or we can sit back and watch it disappear because of our lack of faith, heart and/or obedience.

Moving forward in 2017 Hopeline Christian Society will be developing a new "Missions Training and Support Center" which will porvide another way of raising money and meeting HCS's mandate of helping Christian Ministers and Missionaries around the world with our new "Project Parables Plus.” It is more like an investment gift that will keep on giving. This by no means is a new thing. It has been used through the centuries, just not to its greatest potential for the Kingdom of God.

We will work on starting a series of non-profit business project ideas. Working together we will be able to expand our ability to provide increased incomes and housing to better help local Christian Ministers and Christian Lay Servants and at the same time improve worldwide support for Christian Ministers, Missionaries, Dispersed Christian Refugees Locally and Globally. Once this template has begun and is functioning in this community it can then be duplicated across the rest of the US and then other countries in need around the world.

If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14

And He said, “The kingdom of God is as if a man should scatter seed on the ground, and should sleep by night and rise by day, and the seed should sprout and grow, he himself does not know how. For the earth yields crops by itself: first the blade, then the head, after that the full grain in the head. But when the grain ripens, immediately he puts in the sickle, because the harvest has come.” Mark 4: 30-32

TempServe

By starting a non-profit ministry based business with training (missions, business, trades, technology and economics, etc.), jobs and housing for Christians who need housing and a fair income that can support their families and ministries locally and in impoverished countries around the world we can make the world a better place. Through our proposed CARRS (Commercial and Residential Recycling Services) a Recycling Manufacturing Plant and TempServe programs and many others we can help provide better for the needs of Christians in need Locally and Globally.

CARRS is a non-profit business that Hopeline Christian Society will collect recyclables such as oils, metals and anything else that we can clean, fix or sell as scrap to provide for those in needs.

TempServe is a temporary work service which we can provide for our Christian Missionaries, Ministers, Christian Refugees and local Legal Christian Immigrants do as a part of their ministry in helping others locally and globally.

Working together these work project ideas as well as many other creative non-profit business ideas that we can do to meet community needs we will provide a combination of enough labor, income and the ability to grow with minimal expense and provision for those in need as well as the ability to share the Gospel and Love of Jesus Christ to our local community as well as worldwide.

And behold, a certain lawyer stood up and tested Him, saying, “Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?” He said to him, “What is written in the law? What is your reading of it?” So he answered and said, “ ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind,’ and ‘your neighbor as yourself.’” And He said to him, “You have answered rightly; do this and you will live.” But he, wanting to justify himself, said to Jesus, “And who is my neighbor?”

Then Jesus answered and said: “A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, who stripped him of his clothing, wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead. Now by chance a certain priest came down that road. And when he saw him, he passed by on the other side. Likewise a Levite, when he arrived at the place, came and looked, and passed by on the other side. But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was. And when he saw him, he had compassion. So he went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine; and he set him on his own animal, brought him to an inn, and took care of him. On the next day, when he departed, he took out two denarii, gave them to the innkeeper, and said to him, ‘Take care of him; and whatever more you spend, when I come again, I will repay you.’ So which of these three do you think was neighbor to him who fell among the thieves?”

And he said, “He who showed mercy on him.” Then Jesus said to him, “Go and do likewise.” Luke 10: 25-42

Through multiple layers of income, we will be able to help more Christians and our local community. Collecting and selling recyclables, repairing and selling some of the things we will collect higher retail prices and at our discretion lower costs for those who cannot afford it. We will also have incomes with doing temporary jobs in our community. Some of the jobs will be able to be done at normal business labor costs, some at medium residential labor costs who can afford it and finally we can have a lower labor cost for those struggling with low or no incomes as a ministry (ex. $10/hr. or free auto repairs for single mothers instead of $75/hr. at a garage) supplemented by all of the regular incomes. This will also give us the ability to have volunteer labor to help in local schools, churches, non-profits and other community needs. Our 1st years goal will be to put at least 20 Immigrated Christians and at least 20 local community Christians to work. We will then increase our growth to help more people locally and then globally.

TempServe

Project Parables Plus is taking the lessons taught from the Apostle Paul who supported his ministry and that of other Christians through using his tent making talents. HCS as an organization and Christian community wants to use and develop the talents and skills of our Christian brothers and sisters in need to better provide for their families, ministries and nations..

...“So he who had received five talents came and brought five other talents, saying, ‘Lord, you delivered to me five talents; look, I have gained five more talents besides them.’ His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’ He also who had received two talents came and said, ‘Lord, you delivered to me two talents; look, I have gained two more talents besides them.’ His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’...   Matthew 25: 14-30

What Hopeline Christian Society is in need of for this project?

So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.   Mark 11: 22-24

First and foremost, your prayers.

We will need to find a local donated property or multiple properties from a closed church, non-profit, business or a person that wants to help our community, etc. We need housing, a facility and enough property to be able to begin our process.

We will a need to raise about $30,000 (by June) to work on the property, legal fees, as well as to help with expenses for our Christian Refugees/Immigrants and family’s needs for the first 6 months of expenses until Project Parables Plus is self-sufficient.

This means we will need about 300 people, churches or businesses committed to give $100 or $20 a month in the next 5 months to proceed with bringing those who need jobs to our location and begin getting paid. If you would like to help or get more information contact Curtis at info@hopeline.org

As well we will need volunteer Christian leaders or business students that want to work towards a future and career of helping to build and develop non-profit businesses that help those suffering and needing the love of Jesus in this world.

As a 501 (c) (3) Charity, Hopeline Christian Society has the ability to move forward to fulfill these needs with fundraising and receiving donated items and facilities. We .need your help to make this possible

Some of the Haitians Missionaries that will be a part of Project Parables Plus when implemented are:
Sauveur Junior Ovilmar, Ronald Louis and Jonel Altidort

These are my personal Haitian friends that are honorable brothers and sisters in Christ
that are struggling to help their families and nation of Haiti. It also has become my hearts fight as well.

We have the ability to practically live out Jesus' Parables and more by helping these (above pictures) Christian brothers and sisters in a very practical way. This extension of love to them will directly flow to show Christ's Love around the world “Encouraging, Equipping and Mobilizing Christians in the Pursuit of Living the ‘Two Great Commandments’ and the ‘Great Commission,’ Locally and Globally."

Timeline?

Begin fundraising, searching for possible facilities and leaders beginning February 2017.

Contact businesses about need for temporary labor needs.

We will need to raise at least $20,000 before we can get and take over the actual facility to house and begin the business process. This will assure our ability to move forward in this project without harming the lives of anyone involved. As well no money raised to start this project will go towards personally supporting anyone in the leadership of Hopeline Christian Society.

Bring in Christian Ministers, Missionaries, Refugees and legal Immigrants needing work. This piece cannot take place until we have the facilities and finances to properly support our 3rd world Christian Minister and Missionary workers and their families for at least 6 months. Their lives are hard enough without getting them stuck all the way across the US in the middle of nowhere.

Some may ask why we are limited to this community and not somewhere else? We must stay in the Newport, WA area because I must remain in my fulltime job while putting this project together, as I have while helping other Christian Ministers and Missionaries and the people they help around the world for the past 3 1/2 years.

CARRS and TempServe and the now added Faith Auto, Truck and Boat detailing, RV Restoration, local transportation services (Uber like), invention creation and marketing and possibly a Youth Hostel (sharing God’s love with young travelers) along with many other services as soon as possible.

How long will this take will be depended upon how many local people want to get invoved and how fast we can raise the money to make this project work. We need teamwork.

Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing. Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; 6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part. But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away. When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things. For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known. And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of theseis love. 1 Corinthians 13
